Hi,
Nothing obvious. It is possibly ultrasonically welded together. If so the only way to open it is cutting or controlled breakage. The circular bit you pried is a likely join. I'd start with a small file and file a narrow section at 45 degrees to the corner. Check every few strokes to see what is revealed. This can give an idea of the joint construction.
