steering rack and pump 1.9 150 and 2.4 interchangeable?

According to ePER 2012 the pumps are the same (but I'm not accepting any liability)

Original P/N: 71740358 - Models M87, M88, M91, M92, M95 - replaced by
New P/N: 71746312 - Models M87, M88, M91, M92, M95 - in October 2005

Note: Applicable date is 2012 - Fiat may have made changed part numbers/specifications/applicability since 2012.

You should always check with your dealer and *never* order a specific part numbers like the ones above. By doing so if they are wrong then you pay the bill. If the dealer orders the wrong part *that they have themselves looked up* then THEY pay the bill.
