v´got question regarding egr cleaning : cleaning min. 2times/year, but if longer trip, than cleaning before that trip.
2year ago happened that bottom left screw was "overscrued" in alumínium thread (mating part - part where the egr is assembled)... with garage mechanic we made bit bigger thread - run ok... but few weeks ago top left side screw "overscrued"...

now the basic question : does anybody knows part nr. of mating part (where egr is assied)? is it flap valve? or?

as attached i tried to make a prt/scrn from fiat eper...

The EGR valve attaches directly to the intake manifold.

These are not cheap (£350 UK pounds in 2012).

They are also quite difficult to replace.

You may be better off fitting helicoil inserts.

I've ran mine OK with just the one bolt holding it in place in the past but in recent years with just 2 of the 3 bolts with no problems.
