Hi Everyone, I have a 55 Reg Croma 1.9/16V, 150 BHP Manual Model.
Recently it has started having issues when I attempt to start/crank over.
I have been through the standard diagnosis stage, i.e. confirmed the battery is still good, and the clutch & brake pedal switches are all operatingly correctly (confirmed with Multiecuscan). I reached the conclusion there's a problem with the Starter Solenoid Relay. I checked in the underbonnet electrical centre and the Relay location explanation embossed on the underside of the lid pointed the relay for the starter motor, however in my model that relay location is not occupied. Next I checked in the electrical centre beside the OBD connector in the interior, there are several relays in there which I can hear/feel clicking when I move to the crank position, so i guess there may be a Crank/run Relay and also Starter solnoid one in there too.
Does any "Kind Soul" have access to the Croma 1.9/16V/ Manual gearbox wiring diagram describing the operation of the Starter Solenoid relay and possibly the Crank/Run Relay if there is one.
I am fairly adept with diagnosing electrical issues, but am lost without a wiring schematic to allow a systematic approach.
So if any Forum member has either access or can point me to where I can get it, I'd be eternally grateful.

Hi Peter,
The schematic is in the eLearn software which is here:

Top of the list. You have to burn it to a CD (I use a CF card instead in my CD-ROM-less Panasonic Toughbook).
It's a bit clunky but it's there. I'm out of the country at the moment or i'd have had a look for you to see which relay it is.

Regards,
Robert G8RPI.
