Technical dead turbo?

Hi Dave, sorry for no reply, weve been away on holiday.Looking at the triple k with more time it does look different but never mind your sorted.
I think you will also need to set the vnt up after the rebuild.Dead easy.
Connect a vacuum gun to the vnt actuator, vacuum the actuator to about 15 in of mercury. The vnt lever should then just touch the stop screw.Adjust it to suit.

it is, finding it isn't going to be easy though

thank you

I know exactly where mine is, but getting to it may be difficult...

Well this sucks, on an auto there is a fluid cooler for the gearbox, on the croma someone has the bright idea to place this inside the coolant rad, now it has fallen down inside had to re remove rad to try and solve it as trying to push it back up with screwdrivers whilst still on the car didn't work.

Done, seems to be running fine only done a short trip dont seem to be any leaks. that oil cooler was a right pain bust be a GM design.

Thanks to everyone who chipped in with help and advice. now we see how long it lasts.

Wel done Dave

long run today down to elite in rainham 58 miles each way, on the way back lost boost pulled in to a carpark thinking boost pipe had popped off but a connector on the home made pipe i made ages ago was squashed in i adjusted it and it was fine after that,

Then about 20 miles from home oil pressure light starts flashing i did not see message with it and forgot what it means so i pull over check oil that was fine, start off again no light at first then it comes back flashed for a bit then disappears, i drive home slowly behind the lorries very worried, got home check manual and it just means oil change is due, I've just done that but didn't reset any thing with mes yet so was a worry for nothing

lost boost today overtaking on A12 no warning lights i thought boost pipe had popped off again, got to where i was going checked top boost pipes they looked fine too dark and wet to see bottom ones. came home and boost was back until i booted it again when nearly home. i am thinking that join in home made boost pipe is sucking its self in but popped out when i went to look. what do people reckon could it be some thing more serious?
