Strange place for a water leak. I noticed a leak under the car today, when i investigated it the water seems to be coming from a small rubber grommet looking thing on the bulk-head. I placed a bowl under it and the liquid is clear, so cant be any kind of fluid...The grommet seems to be tubular as I could stick my finger in to it, so an overflow perhaps, but What for ?? Any idea and thanks.

Thanks for the info. It seems to be quite a serious drip, not a run, like turning a tap on, but a drip drip drip...when the vehicle stops. it just seems to be a weird place that it is coming from. But it is a clear liquid. As you look into the engine compartment leaning over the left hand wing there is a large bottle low down at the rear of the engine and the tube that appears to have the water coming from it is to the left of that, that seems to be running into the vehicle compartment.. Guess that is clear as mud :)

I had a look at my Croma last night but can't see anything that fits your description. What engine / trim level do you have? (mine is a 1.9 16V 150 Eleganza). It does sound like airconditioning condensate, but normally this has a tube so it drains clear of the bodywork. Maybe the tube has dropped off.

Hi Robert, yeah I have the same model.:) I will try to take a picture later, once the wife is home, to be honest I'm surprised of where, it appears , to be coming from, and that's the problem with water it can travel quite a distance before it starts to drip off.

TBH if the liquid is clear , and "water-like",
as long as it's not rained/been washed that day..
condensate is a 95% certainty, ;)
