Well dont know if people remember,but in summer had a clicking/cracking sound from what i thought was the transmission area.We,ve been that busy with work and stuff not really had a proper look at it besides changing transmission oil.Anyway got round to looking at it,was sure it was the outer cv,but got to the stage were with someone in the car moving the lever between drive and reverse you could hear it stationary.After a visual look we could see the cv spinning in the hub spline.Stripped it down to find the splines worn off on the hub/bearing.bearing in mind these were both new bearings before we went on our summer hols with the van in tow.All in all i reckon they,ve done about 2000 miles.cheap no make parts.Replaced today with FAG.Sweet as now.
