General Bargain of the year

General Bargain of the year

Oooh I'll take the opportunity to say my next "car" is £30 a year in road tax. After it gets built of course. Yay!

I forget what the petrol manual Croma is, but I'm sure it's £200+. I know the petrol auto is £500+.

So nobody wanted it at £1000 so the seller doubled the price?!

I know it's now an ad rather than an auction, but that's way too much.

From what I've seen from getting mine valued, my diesel of the same age is worth £800-£1500 with 105k miles. I'd personally value a lower mileage petrol at around the same or less, so I'd say asking £1200 would be about right, but expect a £1000 offer.

It's a black art though - so few sell that the prices are almost random numbers.

Agree. But if someone bid £1000 why on earth not follow through? Unless the seller refused to sell it at that of course.

Even at £2k it would be a fair deal, as long as you kept it until it dies.

Lots of ambitious Croma prices out there though.
