light came on yesterday how long have i got, will they last till next week? will do about 300 miles i reckon, not worried about killing disks as i will be changing them too

You'll get the grinding noise when they reach the discs, so no need to worry until then.

i also cant find no one who has ebc greenstuff front pads for a croma

vectra c spec I'm sure they have those and its the same.

for standard ebc pads its saying part numbers for croma 1.916v DP1906

if its anything like my old grande the sensor is only on one pad...... so others could be far more / less worn than the one with the sensor.....

Yup, mine were worn not equally at all, one to the bone other fine, still had to replace. I guess one caliper was sticking a bit all fine now with new pads.

Which Croma is it? I have some for the 1.9 8v version which won't fit my 16v Croma. Was just going to stick 'em back on eBay and in the classifieds here, but if you want them I'm open to offers. They're OEM Fiat ones, which themselves are a well-known brand. I just can't remember for the life of me what it is! Will check as it's stamped in the metal part of the pad.

Your brakes are the same as mine. 300 miles is fine, 500 is iffy, 750 is pushing it and 1000 is right out I've just fitted my third set and both times they've been uncomfortably close to the metal - the wear ridge at the outer & inner edge of the discs that is.

Your front discs are 305mm as opposed to Vectra 302mm ones, hence the difference. You should still be able to get a choice of pads though.

thanks well ive made it back from stanford, looks like i be getting some nornal pads then as ebc dont make the greenstuff for croma 16v

any recommendation for other low dust pads? i dont know what is in there atm i asume oem, but they are turning mt wheels black in a week

is a 1.9 16v 150 called a 110kw too?

try brembo low dust and good prices i only use there discs and pads for my 2.4 and my jcw cooper s.

ive just been looking at brembo discs but they say they are for 1.9 16V MJT 110

hmm googled the part number and another site is sayings its Diameter 285mm so must be for the 8v? they are only £51, think ive just found the 16v ones they are £69

Bought pads/discs back in Nov. Couldn’t find 305mm Front Discs local & used NextDayBrakes (aka POTN? aka outletF1?) – around £70 inc carriage.

thats the place i was looking last night, i cant find many reviews of the brembo stand stuff though, not sure if its extra good or just same as local motor factors standard stuff but with added £ just for the brembo name
