People!

Cos I was a boy scout I like to be prepared!!!! So I'v been looking for a manual for my Croma!!! Has anyone had experience of the " E-Learn " ones advertised on Ebay??

Am also pleasanty surprised at the lower cost of Gm parts compared to Fit bits!!!

It does insist on running from a CD - I burned the ISO file onto a CD, then tried copying the contents of the CD onto the hard disk and running from there, but it doesn't want to know - it checks that the CD itself is in.

I guess it may work if you get some software that mounts the iso image as a fake CD drive though - I haven't tried this myself.

It does get a bit slow from CD when accessing diagrams, so it would be better from the hard disk.

By the way, this is excellent free ISO burning software. Nice and simple, unlike other bloaty software...

I prefer to run it mounted on a virtual CD drive, much faster. Plenty to choose from out there.
This appears to be the old 2005 version, but our Cromas are also.
 
and after you've paid nothing for Winrar you can flog as many CDs as you like on fleabay for £4 each.
 
Now I'm confused. Is a username and password needed for the elearn CD downloaded from the link given previously? Or is there a different online version?
