Saab 9-5's and 9-3's have many parts with a Fiat and GM embossing on!

Re: What really is GM on the Croma????

Only way to be sure is to look at those links, note all part numbers, OEM equivalents etc. and then start from there.

Example. Look at Kilen / other OEM springs for Croma's and then check if same parts are also listed for Vectra C.

Bearing in mind there will be 10s of thousands more Vectra/Signum than Cromas were ever made then most of these sports kits will always name/target the biggest market.

Just had to get something around the ABS system replaced on ours. It's a GM part and means a bit chunk of the wheel needs to be replaced. Will have to find out in more detail what part has broken.
Can anyone confirm this? I need to change a rear ABS sensor, and have found one for Vectra C.

Ok, guess it is the same thing, then. I can't imagine they have different systems for Vectra and Signum.

Thanks, Dave.

A noob question: there is no difference between left and right, is there?

The later Saab 9-3s do indeed use the 'Epsilon', however the closest car(s) to the Croma is the Signum/Vectra C estate (due to the axle weights). Some fluid reservoirs are also GM marked, I wouldn't bet against many of the electrical components being common either. The petrol Cromas use a GM engine, but the Multijets are Fiat. Haven't found any other bits yet but am willing to look if anyone's that curious?

HTH.
Gearbox on my petrol Croma is GM along with the engine, and lots of engine ancillary bits too
