Lightbulb Poll: This interface vs. FCCUK interface

Before I go on, please note that I'm not trying to get peoples backs up by asking members to slag off different forums and the way they are run. I'm merely looking for constructive critism for each interface (not the layout of the sites, there is a difference).

So what do people think?

Re: Poll: This interface vs. FCCUK interface

This has some nice features, spell checker etc. But the more 'ordered' layout of the FCCUK forum (no huge sigs/pictures, no ads) was more pleasing to the eye.

Above all, folk are friendly here, it's easy to use and has most of the stuff we are used to.

I think that the Coupe forum tended to be a bit less cluttered, due to smaller sigs etc. However, I prefer the colour scheme of Fiat Forum.
I've thought for a while that the "Report this post" option on FF is very good, and something like that would make the FCCUK mods lives easier.

Re: Poll: This interface vs. FCCUK interface

There was a "report this post" function on the FCCUK forum. As for the party banner, that wasn't an advert any more than having your Fiat Forum logo at the top of here is an advert

The colour of the FCCUK forum was chosen as it's one that's proven to reduce eye-strain, so many of our members spend 22 hours a day staring at it, any bright colours burn into their retinas

This forum software seems pretty good though but we always had very good service from our software provider and no complaints.

Re: Poll: This interface vs. FCCUK interface

I wasn't that serious about the party banner! Where was the report this post button? I never saw it! I would have used it had I seen it.
