hi does any one know the official oil consumption figures for the fiat coupe 20 valve turbo.

Could be upto 1 litre per 6,000 miles like the sister alfa romeos

Indeed, can be quite high. It's critical to keep an eye on the dipstick on the 20VT (which is notoriously difficult to read). The car needs to be perfectly level and readings should be taken at least 5 mins after the engine has been switched off. Some people spray the dipstick black to make readings more visible.

Ignore it at your peril!
