Hello,

I have seen 2 stunning second hand Fiat Coupe and I am interested in buying one.
Both are in excellent visual condition and have low kilometers and come with 1 year guarantee from the garage. They have specs as follows :

Fiat coupe 2.0 16V
32000 km
year : 1999
price : 16000 Euro/10350 GBP/15840 USD

Fiat Coupe 1.8 16V
22000 km
year : 1999
price : 15500 Euro/10025 GBP/15346 USD

Is there anything I should be looking out for ? Any weaknesses for the 2.0 or 1.8 ? Any other suggestions ?

Is it a wise decision to buy a Coupe at this time when the car is no longer in production ?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Krist.

Get yourself a 20ltr 20V turbo......you know it makes sense !

don't bother with the 1.8ltr......you'll only wish later that you had a 2.0ltr 16v turbo etc....

I would go for the 2.0 litre at the very least. And don't worry about the fact that the cars are out of production. There are a huge number of fans out there from all over the world who are willing to help you if you ever run into difficulties, which you shouldn't because car manufacturers have to support the cars they make for a few years after production anyway.

Go for the 2.0 and enjoy it!

Don't sound right, FIAT has stopped production of 2.0Litre 16v Coupe in 1996, since then all 2.0Litre Coupes are 20v models. There can't be a 1999 2.0L 16v, they don't exist! If I were you, I would check it up closely.

Btw, get a turbo version, whether it is 16v or 20v model, otherwise you will regret it. Forget the 1.8L model, it has no gut.
