259 BHP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

brickfoot tested my car yesterday with this new thingie he has, took the car out did a 0-60 test but best we could get was 6.4 and i know it can do better but it did wheel spin to begin with.

then tested the something else but cant remember what that was

then tested the BHP, i thought it would max out at 250 at the very best but 259 bhp was excellent, i am well impressed :D wahoooo!!!!!!!

0-100? should be about 14.5

Either that or the back seat... ;)

Only exhaust, decat, boost controller and hybrid turbo to go!

H

Something is bound to go wrong for Sammi before she gets anything like that ;)

Either that or the back seat...

None of that here! Maybe on your fcuk forum but we frown upon such comments ;)

Well done sammi :D

Not trying to pee on your bonfire but take the G-Tech Horsepower reading with a pinch of salt: I have had figures ranging from 190 to 318 BHP :p
The 0-60 and 1/4 mile timings are supposed to be really accurate though.
Get your coop on a rolling road sesh, it's a good day out too (or am I just saaaad ;) )

the bhp reading will be accurate assuming it has the correct data. It uses the acceleration times and car weight. So if you get the cars weight right (with current fuel weight, people weight, load/ice weight etc), it'll give you a good indication :)

I need to actually use my gtech sometime, think i'l do it before and after the 40mm TB goes on :D

We had a bloke on the Coop forum that used one of those weighing platforms for lorries, with himself, (weighed the same as me) a jacket and half a tank of fuel, the car weighed 3,000 lbs.
This is the figure I use for the G-Tech, and still it came up with different results day to day. Also, it tells you your RWHP, not BHP.
A Rolling road is still not that accurate, but 10x more accurate than a G-Tech IMO. I have just sold mine, The RSPC made me!

(Royal Society for the Protection of Clutches ;) )

Coaxed this 0-60 time out of her before I sold it though:

Not easy in a coop, it just p*sses the power away in first :p

You have to time the "click" of your phone camera just in time for when it flashes up, otherwise you miss it. That was my third attempt :p
The price for a rolling sesh is normally around the £30 for a Power run - Basically a bit of tinkering then flooring it slowly to the redline in fourth. You will LOVE the sound !

Here's a quick page my mate threw together after I was on the Rollers:

Because the original 16VT was criticised for its awful turbo Lag, Fiat worked with Garrett to produce a T28 (small) turbo for the 20VT. This eliminated most of the lag as it spins up fairly easy, and is good for torque, but it cannot provide good, solid boost higher up the rev range.
Which is why the graph is wavy :p
