hiya just a quick question, that little brass bit in the t piece of the guage pipework, is there not supposed to be one on the exit of the t piece that leads to guage, mine has that with a little hole in it. boosts fine up to 10 psi and thats all you get to red line, if you absolutely floor it in 3rd then the boost kicks to 15 psi but thats it, conversion is around 1 bar maximum all in,, and 10 psi normal boost driving hard, around 0.6 bar,,,,,,,why isnt it boosting right?
thanks

no sorry mate i think i typed it wrong,, the t piece has a small brass insert in the gauge side with a restrictor hole to allow limited pressure through to accurately measure the boost,, or something like that i think.. not sure of this and dont know if it should even be there,,, next thing is the boost spike,, only boosts over 10 psi in 3rd 4th 5th,, but only if your pedal accelarator is through the floor,, i thought boost was steady and progressive, not half hearted then punch,,
thanks

This brass 'T' piece you talk about......are you sure it is not a PRV ?
I seem to remember many moons ago, when I first used manual boost control,it had a similar thing.
