OK, well I was doing my maths test whilst I said it.

What I mean is, normally, the only way to own such a nice and quick car is through being regimented. I.e. the types who can afford such a car and insurance normally have to be in well paid jobs and therefore normally are a lot more formal etc.

My god Pghstochaj, what a load of balls, to own a coop it helps to be regimented!!! I picked up my coop for 4k, and spent 1k on insurance, that's 5k. You can't pick up ANY new car for that price!! also, I was unemployed all last month, before starting a job on 6 measly squids p/h!!!
So I don't think your theory makes sense.

Re: Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo For Sale

Yeah, I was about to say same thing!

I was in market for a newer car a few months back - decided to spend my £7k on a Stilo Abarth, not £4-5k on an older, yet faster, Coupe, even though looks are awesome. I suppose doing over 50 miles a day would clock up the mileage big time, and for me would have been a backwards step. Each to their own....

Re: Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo For Sale

Nor do I, but I was saying "normally" and as you say, the problem is, the value of the coupe is much better than any such similar car. If I am completely wrong, tell me why it is the case that those people are so much more reserved and formal? The only thing I can think of is their lifestyle as I said.

However, take for instance a Vauxhall site similar to this, the Novas/Corsas owners maybe the chavs, the Astras the grown up chavs and the Vectra/Omega owners may be working class or business people, they all mix up and like on our site, you have a good mix. Then however, if you have just a Omega forum, the people in general will be different to the main forum; like on here with the Ulysees (in general again).

The above is just hyperphetical and in no way suggests anything about a Vauxhall forum, just me trying to figure it out.

Re: Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo For Sale

mmm, You can maybe generalise what sort of persons would go for which car eg. Nova - 17 y.o "cap back's"
Renault Megane - 30 Y.O "family guy"

However the Coop is an enthusiasts car, offering a good mix of looks, performance, and used price value. On the coupe forum there is a mix of everyone, from 19 year olds to 60 year olds, Male/Female, Married folks that use the car to take the kids to school, Some have the car as a second car for weekends etc. You can't generalise everyone on the forum basically.

Re: Fiat Coupe 20V Turbo For Sale

I agree it is a struggle to get the guys out of the Ulysse forum; generally a different breed of person, more reserved, busier lives, etc....

Although I am an exception to the norm - ain't you guys lucky....
