Bosch alternator serial numbers wanted !!!

Hi,

The regulator's died on the alternator of nephews 1995 16v 2.0 ltr Coupe but the label with the serial number is missing from the alternator.

I know it's a Bosch alternator but the Bosch service center wont sell me a new regulator without seeing a serial number off the alternator and to make matters worse the car is about 200 miles away.

Could someone then please post a serial number off a Bosch alternator from a 95 Coupe for me?

The manual lists two Bosch alternators for this year but gives the same number for the regulators of each of EL-14V-EC which the Bosch service center can't match up with their parts book!!!

So it's like Catch 22, any advice appreciated on this matter.
