20vt lag

i havnt had my 20vt coupe long iv ordered a boost gauge but at the min dont know what im boosting, it just feels that the car is not boosting as much as it should holds back alot and sometimes feels like it cuts the boost are there any things i should check

I take it you're not getting any injector light on or any other warning lights?

Could be one of a number of things. Do you mean sometimes it boosts more than others, or it's consistent but you think it's low?

Personally I'd want to know what it was doing before I went trying to increase it.

Check the throttle cable is opening the throttle butterfly.

I had similar problems on my car and I over looked it. I tried everything but the cable. Then one day it snapped, and on fitting the new cable the car went like a rocket...

I'd simply wait until you fit the boost gauge.

mine boosts drops off slowly then boosts again? any ideas

I take it you have tried cleaning out the boost valve with WD40?

If it is sticking you get either base boost all the time, overboosting, or boost that is all over the shop.
