Skegness Convoy: NORTHWEST

Right, I thought i best get this thread on the move.

Me and H will be coming from Oswestry, will be going A483, M3, M56, M62.....


Anyone else taking route from any of those who want to convoy. Once we have sorted everything out I will close this thread and post one with all the details of meeting points and times.

We are hoping to get there about 2ish, maybe a bit later.

not sure which way i going, probably follow you but not sure what time the rest of my group are planing to get there for - i would like to try and get most of us in altogether - save me waiting at the gate

i think we will get there before polecat - doesnt matter, you dont need to get there at the same time. Let me know anyway

how you get in then?

make sure everyone has a copy of the booking form, thats how people did it last year.

AFAIK me and Dai will be arriving together if thats any use I dont know my route yet though and i'm pretty sure people wont want a Ford in their convoy

hmmm... plane lands in b'ham at like 1.30 on the friday... reckon i can get my sister to take a cab and go straight from bham airport? (dad lives in portugal where im going so dont worry will have fresh change of clothes lmao)

I need to check out my route but after 2004/2005 experiences, those of us in the NW will probably be better A66/69 then A1. Well, me in the NW anyway, I'll be in my usual convoy of 1

seems stange going up to come back down, when we can zip straight across

The Northern contingent of the NW convoy will be doing A66 A1 M62 and would like to meet the southern contingent of the NW convoy somewhere on the end of the M62 if that's OK?

i been told

could meet doncaster north services on m18 - it dont look far from the m62 on map

i think when we worked it out they were more or less the same werent they? Plus i might need to pop in via my house as my parents are away and the parrots might need feeding
