people are from all over "the Midlands" so times will vary..,
pretty sure there will be a convoys thread up soon ,
Charlie ( Oxford - M40 THAME services)
there is a chance il be down that way by then if not midlandsall route lead to same place pretty much
OK ,
are we any nearer organising the M40 Convoy..??,
Thame services just EAST of Oxford would work well for @5 of us..??

Ill be joining the M40 at J15 at about 6:30am give or take 10 minutes, going to try and keep it orgonised yet leaving room for delays. What junction and time will anyone else be joing if going down the M40?

Sounds GOOD, what time are we expecting to ARRIVE at Brooklands..?

Were excpected to meet at the tesco extra near brooklands museum at 8:30 probably best to get there earlyer than that though

Charlie, AA maps show 60 miles and 1hour 30 from my place ! We will need to be at Thame services before 6.45 to allow contingency time ! May I suggest at Thame services at 6.30 and leaving at 06.45 ?

No - at Oxford's Wheatley J8 - M40 services, near Thame , oxon
don't have an issue with going earlier.. but suspect the BH traffic will be o.k. at 7 AM..!!

Ive never been that far down south in my life so i dont know how bad the traffic might be. We can meet you in that sercive station if you want, we will probably be stopping there anyway to stretch our legs

Ok well im leaving my house at 3:30 am and we will be at wheatly services at about 7. If the traffic is flowing normally we should be there for about 8:15

I'll probably join you, tried visiting a friend who normaly goes but he was out, how inconsiderate. Dave, if you are just out of derby give us a pm, can meet up before we head off to convoy if you want. Also I have a straight bar so you can tow me when I break down.

Ive not planned a route there but thats only 40 miles from wolverhampton which is one our planned routes so if you want to join we will be there for 5am. A day or 2 before ill messege everyone indevidually with adresses and times and to see if your still up for convoying.
Ide like to get 10 of us at least and i think atm were up to 8 or 9
