Righto dombooth, bennyboy, Petento and ANYONE else who might be interested in this convoy to Trafford 2013. Here is a rough 'plan' for the convoy as it stands. If people want to join, the points are clearly noted, and i'll divulge a bit more on them toward the end.

Times are rough. I've never organised a convoy, so anyone with experience suggestions/alterations/whatever are GREATLY appreciated.

(A) My (Wisey) start point 2:45 - 3:00pm
(B) Donnington Park Services J23a M1 northbound - Meet Petento 3:30 - 3:45pm
(C) Tibshelf Services between J28-29 M1 northbound - Meet bennyboy 4:15 - 4:30pm
(D) Kiverton PC Repairs - Meet dombooth 5:00 - 5:15pm [no services here, so assumed we'd leave M1 and 'meet' you somewhere, used your shop postcode as its all i had to hand. Your input/suggestion is required here Dom.
(E) En-route to Trafford Meet ETA 7:00pm

Right, as mentioned times are rough. Over estimating journey time, based on 'normal' traffic and very economic 'legal' driving at steady 70 + 'meeting' time at each point to arrive, greet, quick plan chat and then get go to next point ect ect. First time organising this, so wouldn't surprise me if this is a million miles out.

Feedback, comments, alterations, suggestions.....fire away. Also, if others are viewing this (no doubt) feel free to pipe up and join in. We'll try keep the meet points to this, but by all means follow the times mentioned and be there to convoy

Sounds all good to me, but knowing my luck I'll get stuck behind some traffic especially on the A610 which is a ballache right up until the M1 slip road *fingers crossed* though and main point is getting a car back on the driveway so I can use it on Tuesday

But on a serious note, yes Wisey whats your facebook? I'll add you as I already have Petento on facebook

Ill post a google maps link to where to meet just off J31, my office probably isn't the best place for any more than 3 cars.

Wisey All being well yes I should be coming, if I get the car in for retest asap (of course ironing out the issues,which almost sorted!) If for any reason I can't come on the convoy or meet I will post on this thread and the meet thread, but for now it's a 90% yes

Haha, don't worry. I like my fuel economy...so it'll be a steady 70ish 66 for 50 MPG :slayer:
