Midlands/Northern Convoy to Red dot 3rd feb

As above, maybe a good idea to meet on a junction of the M6 around the birmingham area.

I suggest to meet at 7:30 with a view to set off at 7:45.

I know there are plenty coming from the the north aswell so hopefully get a few of us.

i think it would be best, seeing as its just down the m1.. to meet at some m1 services. all northerners meet at tibshelf between 29 and 28, and then convoy down to another services and pick everyone else up...

cos i dunno about other people but i aint touching the M6

I was going to suggest that aswell. But I think there are a few midlanders using the M6, if this is the case we can meet on the M1 junc 18 as this is where the M6 joins on.

Northerners meet at Tibshelf? Your deffo not a northerner. I live 38mile south of Newcastle and Tibshelf is 2 and a half hours from me. So i might as well drive for another 45/50mins and get there

I will be coming along now too, i tbink it'll also be a good idea to meet somewhere maybe midlanders meet on M6 then everyone meet on the M1 or something

Hilton park services is usually the place but thats just before you get on. Unless it has a fly over, i'm not sure?

I'm coming from telford so i'll be coming from the M54, how about somewhere the the south of brum

Theres not many services on the way down after hilton park. Which junction do you suggest?

Actually Hilton park services should be ok, I will go the A5 out of telford to junction 11 and then come southbound down the M6. Which side are we going to meet though, northbound or southbound?

Southbound is best. I think Shropshire_lad is coming from your way aswell (if he is coming that is) Hilton park it is then. Meeting time will depend on what time everyone is meeting at watford gap services.
