hey all, this is for my mam really, to record some father ted episodes from dailymotion onto DVD, what's the best way to do it? record it using one of the screen capture programs? just i've tried a couple in the past and they've made my computer lag a bit (could use my dads computer which is faster)

if i did record them through that would i just convert them and fit a few on a DVD? i've put stuff on DVD that i've downloaded before on discs but can't be sure how i done it, thanks a lot (y)

To make a copy of my 4oD content I do the following:

S-video to DVD using a scart, set up DVD recorder to accept S-video input.
Set DVD-recorder as a second screen using dual view.
S-video obviously doesn't carry audio, so I use optical out to my DAC, DAC gives RCA/phono output which is part of my S-video/scart lead connector.

Result? Perfect audio and video, well, an exact copy of what shows from 4oD, looks much better than on my laptop screen!

Around the houses but the only way I know of making backups of well protected files without loss of quality - well, minimal.
