Installing Microsoft Office Professional

I am going to load this onto my friends Computer, he's got XP.

Are there any problems I should be aware of, or is it a simple load and go?

Thanks!

Re: Installing Microsoft Office Professional

Don't be afraid of the 'custom' option. There is a lot of junk installed as default, and a lot that is missed. I usually go for the full option but that may not be required in your case.

Re: Installing Microsoft Office Professional

I always use the custom bit, cos like hellcat stated, theres loads of junk [or stuff the average home user] you wont need

All I usually install, is Word and Excel, I have no need for anything else. And I install Frontpage seperate which is what I use to make sites with
