computer trouble- seriously ****ed lol

well its running like a snail, took me about 40 mins to get to make this thread so dont expect me to reply lol

earlier it came up about doing something illegal think it might have included 16 bit in the text, and 2 boxed to click, close or ignore, if i clicked close, it would come up again 15 seconds later, and wouldnt stop, so i pressed ignore, then it came up-

this system is shutting down. please save all work in pregress and log off. any unsaved work will be lost. this shut down was initiated by NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM

the system process 'C//windows/system32/lsass.eve' terminated unexpectedly with status code- 1073741819. the system will now shut down and restart.

thought it could be spyware or summit? so ran spybot and it found lots, deleted it all, and now the above doesnt happen any more, but it runs very slow, each command given takes about 5 minutes to happen

and it typically does it right as im about to do coursework for tomorrow

please help me

If its the one im thinking of then its the one which keeps shutting the computer down every 10 minutes or so after a certain point (accessing the internet etc.). Get some good anti virus software.

And get rid of the programs that start up when the computer starts as this obviously slows the comp. down and even more so now you have this. Such as DVD editing software.

And get a decent anti-virus program!
And don't run as an Administrator.

When the message pops up with the time limit

Go to run and Type

shutdown /a

That will terminate the shutdown. Go to Run and Type MSCONFIG then stop the guilty program from starting with windows. You might need to start your computer with DOS or with another OS that you have installed and go delete it while the infected windows is not running.

this is why I have a DUAL Boot system and a win98se installed I only ever use for cleaning up viruses etc.

sounds like a virus to me, stinger should take care of it. - but get some decent av software, like nod32
