wireless internet keep going from low to very good?

ok, wireless internet, it keeps going low connection 16.0mbps and the internet goes slow and to very good connection 36.9mbps, every second it goes to low back to very good back to low etc etc, so internet goes slow, fast, slow fast etc etc, whys it do this??

my mums comp does it all the time, it cause there is interference between that and the wireless router

it goes even worse, sometimes looses signal all together when the someone turns the microwave on

mine is perfect as it is directly above the router in the attic

I never have any issues with my wifi link - which is always streaming media from my PC to the Xbox

BUT the aerials do have line of site - albeit in different rooms of the house. One is in the left hand bay, the other in the right hand bay window.

well i have a bt voyager wireless card, dont know whats on the other end, id have to go and ask my neighbour

turn the blue tooth on your phone off

bluetooth wont interfear with wireless, they use different frequencies, unfortunatly the microwave does use the same freq theys why you lose your connection when its on

Go get that, check out whats in the area and fix your router, or the neighbours to a frequency that is not populated. Good to keep about 5 channels between access points. And if you are connected to your neighbours router, then be careful it's not a honey pot. It's so easy to get a Wireless Router, run packet analysis on the traffic. Passwords and stuff can be harvested so easily.

still ****s it up, when daryl has his on he has no net, also the thing that sends freeview from box in my living room to my bedroom blocks it on certain settings

My phone has it's bluetooth on atm, sat next to my wireless aerial, and I'm getting no adverse effects at all

so has mine, its only daryls phone that messes ours up

does darly's phone have bluetooth v1 or v2? just interested, how about you H2DaE?

Mine is a K750i, not sure which version that is
