Good evening ladies and gents.
I have a tablet computer that I use if I am travelling about.
Since yesterday when I click on the "Mail" app I am just getting the screen inviting me to set up my accounts with an email address and password.
Like the accounts didn't exist before. So, assuming that something had gone wrong I have entered the details as I know them to be, but none of them has been accepted (I.E it is saying I have made a mistake).
I have logged on via webmail (not via Windows Mail) using the same log in details, and I can get to my emails OK so proving that I have not made mistakes with the log ins.
So why can all my accounts have gone AWOL from "Mail", and why are my log in details not being accepted? I am confused.:bang:
Any ideas guys?
Thank you

It's an Asus transformer.
I have 3 email accounts and all were working fine on Saturday. They are still working fine on my phone and on my desk pc as well. Just the tablet.
When I clock on the Mail app I just get the screen asking me to set up an account, but when I put the first one in, it says I have already set that account up!

Is this the Windows 8.1 or 10 mail app you're trying to use? If so don't bother, it's junk...

Install this: http://www.emclient.com/ and use that as a mail client.

Who are your email accounts with? When being asked for email addresses and passwords, are you also being asked for pop3/SMTP server addresses? To me, it sounds like you're opening a proprietary mail app (ie. gmail, Yahoo!, Outlook, etc) and trying to use it to open emails from outwith their database.

Hi. 1 is with Virgin and 2 are with 123-reg imaps
The strange thing is that they all were present and correct and working fine and next thing they have gone but only on that machine. Anyway thanks guys. I will get then re set.

Thanks Chris
Sorry for the delay in replying. Been away. I was just puzzled as to why all the accounts were working fine on that particular machine and then the next day it was asking me to set them all up again , and then when I pit the details in it says it's already set up!
