I ripped some CD's (that I own) on to my PC and then put them on to an SD card to play in my car which has a couple of SD card slots.
But I have just realised the car is only going to recognise MP3 files not the WMA files that I have put on to the SD card.
Can I convert them from WMA (if so how) or if I download Itunes is that better?
Or can you even just download itunes these days?
I am a bit behind the times so any help appreciated!

Thanks for that. Actually something strange happened. I downloaded the convertor program but when I tried to set it to work on the files I had put on the SD card it said the card was now write protected so I haven't been able to finish the job! I can't even delete the files and start again either!

On some SD cards you'll have a slidable lock, make sure that's at the top of the card, like this:
