Does anyone know how I can block a device from connecting to my sky hub? I'll rather not change the passcode just block this particular device

Cheers

Best option is to go into router configuration and see if you have the option to block a single MAC address or figure out how to allow the MAC addresses of the devices you want to allow to connect. You should be able to find a guide for doing this for your particular Sky router.

If its just to block web access then give it a reserved IP address and then set the firewall to block outgoing on tcp port 80 and 443 from that address. Block all ports to stop all access but it would still have access to your LAN.

Is there any context to this? If someone has breached your network then putting mac address filtering on won't work, chances are they'll have noted down all MACs from the broadcasts on your network and can easily spoof any one of them, without any obvious consequences (possibly some collisions if both are in use at the same time).

Best way to do it is to change the password imo.
