Hi compugeeks... anyone used inSSIDer to try to locate a better wireless frequency for their Routers & what success looked like?

i havnt but i might try it when i get home from uni

I had a look at it but it didn't make much difference when I swopped frequencies.

I use WiFI analyser on my Android phone lol

After using it and adjusting my router accordingly, my general online experience improved (no more connection drops and improved download/upload speeds)

Best way to get a good connection ... RJ45

Can't do that with my phone...and using 3G internet when I've got a nice wifi network available seems pointless

Save my monthly allowance for nebbing at FF when I'm out and about (Facebook and MSN and Skype are exempt from my monthly data allowances )

Yes I use for quick checks.
Also use Cain & Abel for some more interesting uses...

Penetrate on android is brilliant. The amount of Orange and Talk/Talk wifi routers I've cracked in less than 10seconds is epic :devil: :worship:
