currently with a company called "santrex" which have too much downtime, can anyone recommend me some reliable and fairly cheap space, up to 5gb

theres thousands of hosts come up on google but I have no idea about any of them, therefore recommendations will be appreciated

as it happens I have a spare machine with no current OS, have read that page and although I have ony tried ubuntu once, I think I might be willing to give it a try, so any tips welcome

No such thing has unlimited traffic.

I use PearTree hosting, not had a problem with them.

If you're talking about mobile phone contracts then no, however ukhost4u have no fair usage or limits on their Advanced and Business hosting..

:yeahthat: I've come across many hosting solutions including dedicated servers, vps etc which do have genuine 100% unlimited traffic. A lot have it in the small print that when you hit a certain cap (on mine its 1tb a month) you are capped down from 100mbit to 10mbit (no big deal..).
