Hi olks,

i am new here, but my dads friend owns a ducato diesel van for his business, but it has a problem with its gearbox.

He is not very computer literate and has asked me to look for a manual etc for him.

After perusing the net i found that a manual isnt easily found for this vehicle, however i found a post directing someone to the downloads section for the Ducato.

I downloaded the elearn manual link, but after seting it up, it asks for a CD, obviously i don't have one.

Can someone explain if i have done something wrong or if i need to do something else to get the program to run.

Hi Rick,

I think you are supposed to burn it to disk and have the disk in a drive for it to work.

I downloaded Virtual Clonedrive and leave the CD Image file 'mounted' on it - works a treat

I downloaded the Ford Transit TIS disc... which, like you have, asked for a disc, even though I had burnt it to disc and was running it as I should.

it turns out that the program wanted the disc to be of a specific name, and even though there was a disc in the drive, because it didnt have the name the TIS was looking for, it said to insert a dsic.

Just a precursor in case you get the same problem.



You need to find out what the name of the disk should be.
