Re: e.learn Download

As an aside; I always use a RW disc if I'm not sure I'll manage.

Can't you just mount the image using Daemon Tools, and then install it.

Good point A single CD-RW saves wasting a whole of pack -R's

I did consider that but I think the guy is confused enough as it is

He's obviously chosen Make a Data CD

...instead of Burn Image to Disc

I'm not a great advocate of installing extra programs when confusion already reins

Re: e.learn Download

Moved this thread without realizing it produces a permanent 'dead' link.

OP should have a CD soon so this thread is redundant (I can't delete/move/close it since moving it here).

Re: e.learn Download

By 'dead' I mean it's not searchable from the Stilo section (no one will find it unless they Search this section)

Some of us are not clever enough to think of that straight away.I found it in the end, But I think if you are told it has been moved to the Computer Section shouldn't it be included into the Forum index, How many users know of it's existance or how to find it.

I've just uploaded this one you could try:

rapidshare com /files /353430699 /Stilo_eLEARN .rar

(You are only allowed to post URLs once you have at least 5 posts. thats why i have left space on link)

It's the one I use and I know it works. You need to burn it to a good quality CD and preferably at low speed.

Download unavailable it says .. please reupload it boss

Re: e.learn Download

As said, it's a CD (or DVD) image file. Exactly what will be present on the CD/DVD if you burn it (burn image to disk) in Nero (and only in Nero). .nrg is, in effect, Nero's proprietary version of the open standard .iso file.

Why people continue to use such proprietary tools confounds me.

is there an updated install to this? downloaded all there files, extracted them with winrar and it created a large single file.

extracted that, no .nrg file so installed as the set up exe files present, clicked to open and its asked for a disc?
