When I plug in my USB memory stick it will back up to a folder on my PC? I just had a nightmare where I lost it for an hour or two (down the side of my bed) but I was so worried (8 hours of website work, loads of important files etc. etc.) and thought it would be great.

At the moiment I use secondcopy back up system with my external HDD, i plug it in and back up my whole My Documents folder with 2 clicks and lots of different facilities. I could do this with my USB pen drive BUT anybody know if there's something completely automatic?

Cheers arc, did a search, only problem is that searching for "software to backup pen drive" doesn't exactly help as pen drives/usb memory sticks etc. and back up go hand in hand but sadly the wrong way around lol.

I can get second copy I have found to backup every xSeconds but I found that this causes an error box when it isn't plugged in (which it isn't 95% of the time).

would it help if you saved it as 'my brief case' and not just a folder?

I have never in my life used my briefcase :S Could this be used?

There's a peice of software that is used to synchronise PDA's called active sync see if that'll work i'm not to sure myself

I dont think that would work becuase the other device needs to be running a Windows Mobile OS - a pen-drive doesnt have an OS

Yeah it's good, I plan to use it for the 30 days and see if it is worth having or not. As I don't agree with P2P etc. anyway so the low cost helps, just wish somebody was making a free thing lol
