Which External HD?

Im after an external HD, but i'm unsure which is a good one for the money?

Im after 300gb- 750gb, and looking for a decent price of course

I've seen this one, http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...ce=14&doy=23m8

Looks quite good for the money, but also i think you are paying alot for the design and looks. i wouldn't mind a plain boring looking one.. as it can all be hidden away completely.

This looks quite good too http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?...A52HZ&DOY=23m8 what you think?

If you know of any good ones.. let me know

Re: Which External HD?

i like the loook of this one..
http://www.cclonline.com/product-inf...ufacturer_id=0

but its only £49.99 from maplins with free delivey for the 320gb.. which is better..
i dont know if i need as big as 750gb for that price.. £50 for 320gb seems good

500gb... good compromise

although the 320gb and the 750gb are much better looking with the blue led.. and even won the red dot design award

Re: Which External HD?

what i was saying is.. if it looks good, thats a bonus because i can display it..
but if it looks boring and does the same job for alot less money, thats fine aswell, because i can easily hide it..

ideally.. something which looks good. has about 500gb, and is reasonibly priced... for example

http://www.cclonline.com/product-inf...05004fdd1e1-rk

Its like pulling on a friday night..
if they are fit, its a bonus..
but if they do the same job anyway then you can't moan
