Unhappy my computer broke

Shut down my comp this morning. Turned it on tonight and it say 'please wait...configuring update 3 of 3 0%

then it shutdown and just keeps looping

Fix it yourself you have an IT degree...... Oh yea I forgot that doesn't teach you anything useful .

Its probably Service pack 3 if its Windows XP Pro . Try and boot in safe mode and use a restore point.

My new bloody laptop does this occasionally, but dosen't loop luckily. I think its a bloody Vista thing (assuming your on Vista). The only problem I've had with it so far.

bloody windows update. i have xppro and ws fine til wednesday night when was 6 part update for something. next day some of me games dont work and had rto spends ages sorting it

still no luck, it do the same in safe mode

i using vista basic

i would have suggested safe mode

u checked miscrsoft website?
