| just frank  | media centre problem im trying to connect my laptop to my 360 and it id doing everything to install correctly untill the last point where they both say they have failed. any ideas, anyone done this already? | ||

| just frank | Re: media centre problem please please please can someone help with this. its been months and its so annoying.  it seems to connect briefly as you can see it in device manager with the correct driver bu after 30 seconds disconnects again and says your network may be down or congested or pc might be turned off. none of it true! | ||

| just frank | Re: media centre problem fair enough lol. i have a hp pavilion dv2000 laptop and a 4 month old xbox 360. my router is the bt home hub. the last thing i tried was both the 360 and laptop hardwired to the router via ethernet. all the firewalls off. still no joy although the message on the xbox has changed slightly. it now says "the xbox has experienced a failure and was disconnected from media centre pc. would you like to retry?" i would like to say the xbox is at fault but its my third now and they all did the same. | ||
