Hey

At the last Peterborough area meet, the Idea of setting up a new "club" or group for everyone in the areas mentioned above. I reckon it would help boost forum and Meet members aswell.

Im looking at Rigby, Rawb, LeighJet150 and Percyhahn to help out on this on.
Any decent Ideas would of course gain administrative roles

That would involve driving around Peterborough the "Whiplash Claim Capital" of the East Midlands in invisible cars (broom yellow is completely invisible through German car glass) and finding somewhere in or around Peterborough you can have a drink without needing a stab vest.

I would happily meet up once a month, just make sure it's on a Saturday or Sunday, not too late on a Saturday and if you don't mind a French POS attending.

Weekends are crap for traveling, all the holiday makers etc on the road, a weekday evening would be better - a Friday maybe as not a work night for most

Wednesdays the only suitable week night for me, but if it's only once monthly it shouldn't really be a problem on what day it is. Just need two weeks notice

Some good ideas,
A monthly/ Bi-monthly meet would be good, and a tour of all the little quaint village pubs over the summer would be pretty fun!

Weekdays and weekends are free for me

Any ideas for a "Club name"?

Thought about it last night and Eastern Italia would be a rather apt name as it would be the British Italien owners club closest to Italy.

If anyones got any objections to it please notify but if not, Ill rig up a social group and work on some banners

Im a non-official member (got a sticker) and I live 2 hours from york

Will be organising another meet for the End of August time. Last one was a bit of a flop as only 1 Fiesta ST turned up.

Any one got a day that would be better for them?

We mid week or weekend? Tbh August always seems to be busy with bank holidays etc, not worth beginning / mid Sept so people have plenty of notice to not book things etc

I'm game for Peterborough meets monthly etc. Is there an Eastern Club already or does one still need sorting?
A meet in the next couple of weeks would be good i think.

Nice to hear from another Peterborough member! There is an Eastern Italia Social Group but it never has any action.
Maybe if a few more members would be willing to help me out, we could set up a monthly meet In the Lincs, Cambs, Rutland, Northants area that could hopefully get pretty popular!
