I think the issue is a date needs to be picked and stuck to religiously, like the last friday of the month for example.
The summer meet season is nearly out now tbh, to late for August, but could do a September meet (Friday 28th perhaps?) possibly and October one, and then start in March / April of next year to get a monthly meet going maybe?
September and October meet sounds good for this year, and i second your idea for next year (Start in March/April). Maybe first Friday of every month would be easier for those who don't keep track of dates? (not hard to forget or work out

I can't see it being any more difficult to remember the last Friday, but hey ho. Most things tend to be first / second wed/thur/fri of each month from experience, so may clash for some people.
So what we saying about 28th September people?
Ahh, Yeah, good theory. I'm up for 28th September if nothing urgent comes up closer to the time but i can keep everyone informed
