 | 1st -> 2nd handbrake warning light?? hey guys my mates mum has just aquired a broom yellow cinq unsure of the year but she says that when changing from 1st gear to 2nd the handbrake warning light (low fluid level warning light) comes on  does anybody have any ideas? as im under the impression that they are cable operated clutches and rod linkage gear selection.cheers Stain

As above -- sounds like acceleration is causing the (little) fluid in there to wobble the float, if you see what I mean, and your mates mum obviously gasses it hard from the lights........... I've had this on a Sei, and here the mesh of an after market filter had partially nibbled through the insulation on the harness, but the above seems much more likely.
