| Fitting Alarm + Immobiliser I'm looking to fit an alarm and possibly immobiliser in my 1997 cinq sporting. It's got the standard immobiliser but was hoping to get the McKrick chip sometime soon and want an alarm anyway so thought may aswell get it all in one. Just wondering how tricky it is to wire one up? Also obviously want to make it remote central locking aswell so i presume that's pretty easy with the alarm kit? Any suggestions of what alarm to get (a cheap one! )Cheers

| Re: Fitting Alarm + Immobiliser I got a toad alarm fitted in my seic which can do quite alot of functions, although they can be pretty tricky to fit yourself. it was £200 fitted and the alarm is guaranteed for life. (safe n sound based in Wakefield fitted it inbout 3 hours).. If you dont have motors to operate the door locks then they can be fitted at about £10 per motor (I think it was £10). It can be set to activate the interior lights, headlights etc. Although it may be a bit far to go out to Glasgow. the only other alarm that was anywhere near this price was the Laser which is over £300 (and not as good apparently).. anyways the particular model is the AI606 and is Thatcham rated. (I think they are about £150 to buy ) I found safe n sound on ebay btw
