Re: Fix it again now!!!!

Clean the Idle Control Valve, clutch cable shouldn't need doing unless it's actually snapped! You can adjust them easy enough.

If it does need doing, be lucky it got that far.

Its not uncommon to see members on their sixth clutch cable!!!

It is one of the few flaws of the cento

Re: Fix it again now!!!!

ICV is on the throttle body, on the right hand side. Held in by two torx screws I believe. Unplug it, unscrew it, take it out and give it a good clean up with some form of cleaner. Carb spray at a guess?

Re: Fix it again now!!!!

Have replaced the throttle body but yet to test. When I took the old throttle body out I noticed that one of the bolts has been sheared off. The 2 at the back of the throttle body are fine but the 1 at the front has sheared. Could this have caused any issues?

As of yet I can't get the bolt out as I don't want to drill it and then find I've wrecked the plastic thread.

Also just about to replace the battery just in case.

The clutch pedal is very low compared to the brake and the bite is practically at the floor!!! My girlfirend has a Cinq that it has just happened on and that was her warning sign. She adjusted it up and 3 days later it snapped!!

If it lead to an air leak, yes. If you have to, drill it out and helicoil it. Your bike mechanic will probably have a kit!

Re: Fix it again now!!!!

I actually liked driving mine with the biting point on the floor However it's now adjusted higher up. Goes into reverse so much easier now

Just adjust it, if it goes it goes Needed to adjust mine as it was a new cable (changed as precaution) and it had 'run in'.

Sheared bolt will mean not held on right = air leak = your problem. fingers99 has good advice.
