Please HELP injectors

cAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE i am have trouble with my 2000 seicento sporting i have been told it is the injectors the car is constantly shaking and seems to be starved of fuel i have changed the ignition coil no difference cleaned carb still no difference and CHECK THIS the fiAT dealerships want £111 per injector MY DEAR LORD!!!!!!!!!!!
please help is it my injectors and where can i get them from haVE LOOKED IN SCRPYARDS ALSO
anybody got any for sale

also anyone doing any bulk buys on 15 alloys for seicento

It is very unlikely to be be a duff injector they are useually very reliable

is an MPI model?

Has the fuel filter been changed lately?

Which model is it, mpi or spi? Is a warning light on on the dash? Who told you it was the injector(s)?

I think it's a misfire of some sort. Try running the engine after dark, open up the bonnet and see if you can see any bright flashes (arcing) around the plug leads or plugs.

the sei is A 2000 Y reg model car has recently been serviced so fuel filter has been changed shaking started off not too bad nwen iused 2 rev to 4000 it would stop now jus wont stop
please help

FCS, if you want help try what we suggest and give us more information. BTW, are you sure they changed the fuel filter?

You need to diagnose whether its fuel or ignition. A misfire can also be caused by a failing coil pack. It is fairly easy to test the coils by using a timing light. Simply connect the timing light to each ignition lead in turn and abserve the pattern of flashing on a timing mark on the crank pulley. If one lead is misfiring you'll soon spot it visually.

Basically diagnose properly, then spend the money on the correct part.
