you know mine had an identical one to that! put your finger behind the dash and pop the panel out . mine had no wires connected and its never been used. I unscrewed the switch and the hole was to perfect to be drilled by hand and was perfectly center as yours is.
I wonder if feat had loads made with holes and just put a switch in there to fill the hole? lol

I'm sure I felt wires behind mine, but will check and see to me certain

my car has 3 other owners and when i got it i wonderd what the switch was cos the car looks to of never been touched. the people i got it off had if for years where also old. its never had the carpets lifted or any extra wiring. I really feel it came from factory with it.

edit: where in ireland are you?

Just had a look and there are definitely 2 wires there
Too dark here now, but gonna follow it up tomorrow

mmm that is the same switch as mine but it dont have them wires.... VERY odd. maybe its the cento flux capaciter? lol

nah I dont my cousin moved over there a few years ago to play football (sligo i think)

Oh! I thought the Sporting didn't have a flux capacitor??? Now i'm really baffled!!! LOL

Sligo is about 80 or 90 miles from here heading slightly NW and Dublin is about 45mins to the East. More or less right in the centre of the country I am
