| What engine oil?? Hi, don't know what oil is inside, I called two services, which stickers I found on window , and everybody said: Semi syntehtic - no matter what kind/manufacturer/type. If Iam missing some oil and need to fill-up, which one could I use?? Which one are you using in your cinq 1.1 ?? Help me with thiz one, thanks

| Re: What engine oil?? So why they wrote in user manual, that it needs "SAE 15W/40 Multigrade Mineral Oil, API3G..." So mineral or semi ??

From what I understand given the same quality of oil; mineral oil is the cheapest to produce and the least effective lubricant, semi-synthetics are better than pure mineral for lubrication but the best is synthetic. Synthetic oil are still based on mineral oils but the chemists have got their hands on it and messed about removing a lot of the bits that don't aid lubrication making it a better oil. For you what that means is the engine will take any reasonable quality oil, but as with all of these things why not give it something above the minimum specification.
