| Need to change alternator I need to put a new alternator in my 998 cinq sx. Any help as to how I do this would be greatly appreciated. Is it a big/difficult job? I have the part, just need to fit it. Cheers.

| mad bad and very very old  | Re: Need to change alternator 899 is a doddle to do its on the front of the engine. Make sure the battery is disconnected, unbolt it through the wheelarch with a 17mm socket on a long extension. Replace Retension Cheers D

 | Re: Need to change alternator yep, exactly as rallycinq said. I had to replace mine in December, hardest part of the job is removing & refitting the wheel arch liner!
