Fitting rev counter into an MPI sei

Hi folks,

My brother is considering the fitment of a rev counter into his Sei MPI. We both already found out that if the connector is behind the vent (that hasn't been checked yet) the job is really easy. What if it's not? Does the whole dashboard need to be taken off? Anybody done this on an MPI Sei?

Cheers,

Woj
