(T) Strut Brace

I know you can get a strut brace for a Spi seicento engine but, is there a strut brace on the market for an Mpi engine?

Yes you can get one for the MPI however it has been known to have a fitment problem if your vehicle is fitted with ABS, as the ABS unit is in the way slightly. Can be remidied however.

If you dont have ABS then it shouldnt be too much of a problem

I thought the MPI OMP brace solved the ABS problem on both mk1 & mk2 Sei's

Seeing pics of ABS on Sei's and physically trying to fit the brace to my MPI, I'd think it would not fit and ABS model.

The reason for the mpi brace was to clear the airfilter box (higher TB) and ECU, which was in the way.

I was not happy with mine though, and got a novitec to try and fit involving some modding. The novitec defiantly fouls the K&N though, but on wed I pick up a GSR of oldschool, which should solve that problem

OPM MPI, did i rate it?.....no...i'd sooner save a few ££ and get the spi, and move filters and ECU. You'll have to mess about no matter what, so go for a theoretically better and cheaper brace, and make it fit

After reading the main thread about the strut im going to put it off at the moment till I feel more capable of doing it and seeing one done for real.
