(G) your first cinq - what did others think of car choice?

when you bought your first cinquecento, what were other peoples reactions to you buying such a car?

I find myself explaining up front that is not my usual sort of car, and that they may find it odd, they seem to like it though!

They said it was gay and ****ty, they still do

"hehe you bought a grit box"

then chris drove it, and then went and bought a 1242 Sei

Yep, Everyone thought I was mad.
Still do.
I don't care, it's fun, it handles like a go-kart and it's not a Saxo/106/corsa/firusta

A year on and i'm still gutted an absolutely knackered 1.1 saxo can leave me for dead

my mates liked it

but then my mates own cars like MG Metros, so cant really moan

I can just about do a good 1.1 Saxo in mine

Alright for some, TBH mine's starting to run unhealthily again , I can't afford to buy another car and insure another car, i just pour money into her and get no gratitude back *sigh* worse than having a woman, or is it , meh cars and women, stay away from them, both have wound me up tonight

Expensive, annoying, and our lass won't even give me a chance to feel used and abused

my friends loved it!!

then again i was 16 and the only one with a car..........

n now they all know im mad bout cinqs so expect it.

i do get the , "but why spend all that money on a cinq?"

my mates all call mine a pope mobile! lol but i dont care cos its a machine n beta than having a gay nova or saxo!!

My mate like my cinq,we always have some good laffs with it,like the full movement of the mirrors girly horn that squieks and the volume of the exhaust

The day I drove my car to work for the first time everyone in the building came out to have a look and laugh. They all like it but think it is far to small a car to be using.

Me - I love it. Dead small and quirky. Wait till they see the satin black wheels Monday and possible tints later down the line....

none of my mates said anything. they were all too jealous that i actually had a car and a driving licence plus it was an upgrade on my Uno so they had nowt to complain about anyway
